Research. Data. Judgement.Decide with confidence.
Independent, buyer-side property intelligence for homebuyers and investors in Ahmedabad. Mostly research and hard data, with the pinch of instinct that turns information into a decision.
Others compete by showing you more projects.
We compete by helping you decide better.
We work narrow, not wide. A small number of developers we know better: their sites, their build quality, their delivery record. Better to know a few properly than list a thousand we have never walked. And if the right project for you is one we don't cover, we'll say so.
The cheapest rate usually costs something.
Developers competing hard on price will drop the rate per sq ft and take it back somewhere else, most often in quality. Half the time a buyer comparing two projects is comparing apples with oranges. Compare everything else before you compare price.
Value hides where nobody looks.
Affordable housing has become close to a commodity, sold off a rate sheet. Finding real value inside it takes work most people would rather avoid, because it is easier to read a dashboard of numbers. That work is the job.
Tech is not new here. AI will sharpen it.
Property has used technology for years. What AI adds is refinement: cleaner comparison, better valuation, fewer guesses. Done properly, everyone gains from that. The developer, the channel partner and the buyer alike. That is the direction we are working in, and in time we intend to build those tools ourselves.
Advice is only as good as the person giving it.
An engineer by education, a tech guy by passion, a businessperson by profession. The Space Catalyst is where I am trying to bring all three together.
Back in 2008-09, our group ran a study for a pharma major that wanted to know where Ahmedabad would grow next. Our in-house matrix pointed to two residential pockets, towards Sanand via Bopal and towards Thol via Shilaj. It flagged the Adalaj-Vaishnodevi belt for mixed use, mostly commercial, on its twin-city proximity, and GIFT City as the flagship economic zone. Ten to fifteen years on, growth toward each has run well above the city average. We also called Dehgam for its DMIC proximity, and Dholera for the DMIC and the then-proposed Fedra cargo airport.
The tech part is a passion more than a trade these days. I have an IT services business, though I have not worked hands-on in the industry since 2011. What stayed with me is the habit of mind: structure the problem, go and find the data, then lay the options out so a person can actually see them.
I have seen this market from most sides. As a retail investor, and up close through the full lifecycle of a project, and the way the city's consultants actually work. That gives me an above-average understanding of it, and a real interest, rather than a sales script.
The Space Catalyst exists because I kept giving this kind of advice to the people around me, and kept noticing how rarely anyone in this market gives it straight. This field is not short of people. It is short of people who work through it analytically, and who can put a macro view and a set of numbers in front of you before you sign anything.
Beyond that, what I am bringing is transparency and honesty. I am not yet certain this business rewards either. I would rather find out than keep watching people decide in the dark.
An engineer's eye, on your side of the table.
Most people advising you on a home have never read a structural drawing or walked a site under construction. That's the gap we exist to fill.
The structure decides how the plan feels.
A developer may keep to a small beam grid because it saves cost in the RCC frame, and some of that saving does reach the buyer. What it also does is box in the planning, so the flat ends up feeling cramped in ways nobody mentions on a site visit. That is the sort of thing a drawing tells you and a brochure never will.
Builders have a language, and it repeats.
Spend enough time on sites and a developer's habits become legible. How they detail, what they specify, where they economise, whether the finished building matches what the drawing promised. We work narrow rather than wide, so the few we do cover, we know from the inside.
